Instagram Post: Modifying the Use of Instagram to Increase Students’ Ability in Writing Cutline Caption

With the rapid advancements in technology, educators have increasingly explored utilization of social media platforms as educational tools. Among these platforms, Instagram has emerged a prominent choice due to its widespread popularity. This transformation seen being repurposed from mere entertainment tool an medium, particularly domain language instruction. English teachers, particular, embraced this platform facilitate teaching essential skills such speaking and writing. study aims investigate effectiveness using enhancing students' proficiency writing cutline captions. The research subjects consisted 32 twelfth-grade students SMAN 1 Jatiagung, South Lampung, Lampung Province. Data collection was carried out through pretest posttest assessment, obtained data were subjected descriptive quantitative analysis. findings revealed notable improvement ability write captions following integration into instructional process. These results highlight potential valuable for fostering skills, specifically context crafting engaging concise implications contribute expanding body literature on technology-mediated learning underscore importance incorporating settings effective instruction
